Create a New Workspace for Separate Support Across Multiple Domains

Web2Chat allows you to create separate workspaces for different domains, providing you with organized and efficient support management. Each new workspace will require its own paid subscription.

Steps to Create a New Workspace

Access Your Account:

Click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the Web2Chat interface.

Add a New Workspace:

  • Option 1: Hover over the name of your current workspace. A pop-out menu will appear. At the bottom of this menu, click on "Add a new workspace..."

  • Option 2: Click on your workspace name in the top left-hand corner to open a drawer. At the bottom of the drawer, click on "Add workspace..."

Managing Multiple Domains with Web2Chat

Web2Chat allows the Messenger to be installed on multiple domains at no extra cost. However, all conversations from different domains will be directed to the same Web2Chat workspace if you use a single app_id for all Messenger installations.
If you prefer to have separate workspaces for each domain, each workspace will require its own subscription. This setup allows for better segmentation and management of customer interactions across different domains.

Using a Single Workspace for Multiple Domains

If you choose to use a single workspace for multiple domains, you can add a custom attribute (e.g., SOURCE_WEBSITE) to identify the origin of the user's message.
Creating additional workspaces in Web2Chat is straightforward and provides flexibility in managing customer support across multiple domains. Whether you choose to manage everything from a single workspace or create dedicated workspaces for each domain, Web2Chat ensures your support operations are efficient and well-organized.
