Managing teammates in Web2Chat is simple, whether you’re adding new members to your workspace or removing existing ones. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for inviting teammates, setting permissions, and managing their access efficiently.
Adding a Teammate
Follow these steps to invite new teammates to your Web2Chat workspace:
- Navigate to Settings > General > Teammates.
- Select the + Add New Teammates button.
- Input the email address of the teammate(s) you’d like to invite and click Continue and set permissions. Permissions are grouped by feature and collapsed by default.
- Use the dropdown in each section to adjust specific permissions or use the Allow All and Restrict All buttons for broad settings. Tailor permissions for each teammate by selecting or deselecting access for individual sections.
💡Tip: Following Up with Your Invitations
If your teammates haven't accepted their invites after 3 days, you will receive an email listing the pending invites along with unique invite links for each teammate so you can share them directly.
Removing a Teammate
To remove a teammate from your workspace, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > General > Teammates.
- Click the Edit button next to the teammate you wish to remove.
- Select Remove Teammate.
Important Note: Once a teammate is removed, their data cannot be restored. However, you can re-invite them using the same email address if needed.
