Blocking unwanted or spam contacts is simple in Web2Chat. Follow the steps below to quickly prevent unwanted contacts from reaching your Help Desk again.

How to Block Help Desk Spam

  1. Log in to your Web2Chat dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Contacts tab on the left sidebar.
  3. In the Contacts list, locate the contact you wish to block. Click on the View icon next to the contact’s name to access their detailed profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the contact’s profile page. Find and select the Block option.

A confirmation popup will appear—click Confirm to block the contact permanently.
Important Note: Blocking a contact will prevent them from accessing your Help Desk or sending additional messages. If you need to unblock a contact in the future, you can adjust this setting within the Contacts tab.

Blocking spam contacts is an effective way to keep your Help Desk focused on valuable customer inquiries, allowing your team to maintain efficient and productive support.
