The Show on Messenger Launcher option allows a published news item to appear as an update card in the Messenger Launcher.
This helps keep users informed about new features, announcements, or notifications directly within the launcher.
Setup
- Enable the News Space in your Messenger Launcher settings.
- In the News Center, open or create a news item.
- Turn on Show on Messenger Launcher and publish the news item.
The News Space must be enabled for update cards to appear.
Visibility Behavior
- News items will show as update cards only for users who have opened the News Space in the launcher.
- Users who have never opened the News Space will not receive notifications for new news items.
This behavior helps prevent showing old or unseen news items as new alerts.
